This year Surfakademin celebrates 5 years of teaching Swedes how to surf, and they naturally wanted to mark the occasion. Also, as a first step in the internationalization of their business - they asked us to create a campaign that would work virally on a global market.

With much inspiration from the early days of computer gaming, we created this homage to the old NES-console.

During the campaign period, Surfakademin increased their traffic with more than 300% and on the third day we broke their previous web-traffic high-score. So far, the game has been played by more than 1.500 unique visitors who spend around four minutes in average on the site, which is double the normal activity.
